Our parish operates a preschool for children ages 3 and 4. The program for 4-year-olds is
held three mornings per week and the program for 3-year-olds is held two mornings per week.
The time for each program is 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Children are taught basic information and
helped with social skills to prepare for kindergarten. Applications for 2010-2011 school year
are now being accepted. Please contact the Religious Education Office at 724.736.0158.
Youth Group
Our Youth Group has been revitalized and is off and running with a number of activities for our youth
in 7th-12th grade. Ideally, this ministry provides solid occasions for junior high and high school
youth to gather in church-related activities that give the participants a sense of purpose and opportunity
for bonding. There is occasion for prayer and good works as well as fun times. For more information,

Youth Choir
The St. John the Baptist Youth Choir is calling for children ages 7 to 16 to join. The choir performs on
the first Saturday of every month at 4:30 PM Mass. Practices will be held every Monday at 6:00 PM. For
